I was born in the mining town of Broken Hill in the Australian desert, a place of deep blue, cloudless skies and hot colours. These desert colours have made a lasting impression.
I have travelled widely in France, Spain, the United Kingdom and Brazil, where the brilliant tropical colours changed her paintings.
I now live and paint in Devon, a complete contrast to the desert and the tropics. I also love Cornwall and Scotland. My aim is to capture the feeling of different places and to convey their joy and beauty in whatever medium suits them.
I have been accepted by the Association of British Naïve Artists and will exhibit in St. Ives in October 2014.
